You’ve learned why the West is called the Goes-Within-Place and deepened your understanding of the time dimension on the Wheel and which times are in the West. You’ve been introduced to the various physical aspects of this Direction, which represents the human body as well as the body of la ultima Madre, Mother Earth. You’ve looked at the transformation and change dimension of the West and how that is linked to a one thousand day Journey around the Wisdom Wheel. You understand more about why the anchoring Law of the West is Higher Purpose and how the Wheel can help direct a person towards their personal Higher Purpose. You’ve been shown the four major archetypes of the Four Directions; Warriors in the East Teachers in the South Healers in the West Visionaries in the North You’ve seen how the healing work of the West on the Wheel incorporates aspects of all our parts; Head and mind Heart and emotions Physical and intuitive body Spirit and energetic body You’ve begun to meet various healers, shamans and medicine people who work with a more holistic approach, using a unity model like the Wheel, to diagnose and treat related ailments. You’ve learned about the animal layer on the Wheel, and how one species can have its own Wheel, and/or one ‘medicine’ creature can be in all Directions on its own Wheel. You’ve discovered that plants, trees even stones can have Wheels devoted to them. You now know that the West is also called the Place of Death & Rebirth. Over the course of the one thousand day Journey, you’ll learn how the life Journey unfolds year by year, and where you are currently living.
