Comment from #%malcolm at 17:59 on 11_27_07 It has been a long time since I wrote in the introduction blog. I have just read online that an Arab consortium from Abu Dhabi hae invested $7.5 billion into CitiCorp. When I think about the worth and wisdom of the Wisdom Wheel principles and values I know that if the decision makers had been studying the Wisdom Wheel they would not have made som eof the decisions they made and they would not have needed a bailout. Just studying two of the Laws, namely Balance and Integrity would have influenced their Choices.
Comment from #%Malcolm at 11:08 on 06_11_06 A new month begins, I wonder how many people were aware that it was a full moon last night? Some of our subscribers are wellinto their second year adn gaining a lot from this work and the Wisdom Wheel model of wholeness.
Comment from malcolm at 21:24 on 05_17_06 I just read that one million people die from heart attacks in this country each year. Not all, but many of those heart problems can literally be thought of as broken hearts. The Wisdom Wheel community helps people heal their hearts through sharing and having a sense of belonging.
Comment from Malcolm at 16:07 on 02_22_06 How do we show the real power of the Wisdom Wheel in a brief moment? What do we say to catch the eye of the casual visior? It is a friend for life that transcends the casual. It is always there when we need it, showing us the way, reminding us of the wisdom we'd forgotten we had. Comment from kevin at 11:41 on 01_10_06 melynda is really cool Comment from Malcolm at 13:32 on 11_02_05 These Choices entries have been very, very powerful. The entry for Nov 1st 2005 is remarkable. I commented to Cynthia that this entry should be sent to every college student in the country! Extract below. Comment from Melynda at 04:14 on 09_21_05 Hello Cynthia and Malcolm and fellow circlekeepers. I write to voice my similar feelings of "how do we balance it all"? After all, the Wisdom/medicine Wheel is to teach us balance, right? I know what you mean Cynthia when you ask, "what do I keep, what do I give up" in order to maintain saneness, not to mention make a living at the same time! I honor your work (and your sacrifice) as you travel to the mainland to mentor others and also as you maintain the "web wheel". I, too, struggle with what to keep, what to let go of? Again it is all about balance. I need to listen to both my head and my heart to integrate logic and emotion. Sometimes I get stuck in just one and the wheel becomes lopsided. Between our head and our heart is the higher heart and of course, the seat of our voice. We need to give voice to whatever it is that we are holding in our heart or head. As we open our throat chakra and share with others we release blockages or stagnant energy and send our vibration out to the universe. Opening up to others may create feelings of vulnerability but we are also opening the door to oneness and sameness. give voice Comment from Malcolm at 14:46 on 08_11_05 As people come to the site and read the Visitor Blog, I'd like to tell one brief story about how the Wisdom Wheel would have saved me over $50,000! Just prior to being introduced to the Wisdom Wheel an ex girlfriend asked me to help her buy a house in the mid west. This was in early 2000 just before the technology bubble burst. It seemed like a good idea (at the time) Comment from Micmac Fisher at 08:36 on 08_04_05 Good Morning Cynthia, Comment from Karon Moore at 11:39 on 08_03_05 Having once begun and then not completed a full journey around the wheel, my intention this time is to complete it, and to really experience each law. I do know how it can enrich my life. I loved the introduction and it both reminded me of things I knew, and gave new information and insights about the wheel. What brought me back was the online capability which is really great. Although I miss the comraderie of the Glastonbury Group, I can feel close to them and you through this vehicle. Thanks Cynthia and Malcolm. The introduction provides much needed information that will make my second "journey" richer. What brought me back to the wheel was an issue of balance, internal pH balance. Hadn't considered it before, and it got me started thinking about balance. Now I can hardly wait to start working that law, and having the law work me. Comment from KC at 11:25 on 08_03_05 Comment from Marty Davis at 20:52 on 06_27_05 I've just started receiving the Wisdom Wheel daily journal entries. I find them of great interest but need more examples of how I can use them in my life? Comment from mal at 07:29 on 05_01_05 Fred, I've often used the image of the tightrope walker when thinking of Balance. It is only an image. Try thinking of a child keeping a large box at the Balance point. At that point it requires minimal effort because of equal and opposite forces. Move away from the "center" and it becomes increasingly difficult. The infant couldn't pick up the object, but they surely could hold it in balance. As I get further and further away from my center of Balance it is harder and harder to get back. So we could conclude that a "Balanced" life is really one of a sequence of adjustments. Most folks often don't even know how to get close to being in Balance in the first place, so their adjustments have various uncorrelated reference points. The power of the Wisdom Wheel model, is that it is structured, consistant and embracing. We agreed in class once, it is a launching pad and a landing pad at the same time. A vehicle for deep dialogue. By the way, just go to the Members area and blog the Law in question (Balance) Comment from Fred Quigley at 00:30 on 05_01_05 Just catching up on daily entries. It's good for me to read several days at once to get in the flow and have a little continuity, although I,m sure some folks would feel exactly the opposite. When I read the latest "batch", I made a couple of strong connections with places my journey has taken me. A big question when I 'stumbled' onto the Red Road five years ago was "What is this 'balance' that everyone is talking about?" I struggled with the question for several days, Bothered by an image of a tight-rope walker 'balanced' on his tightrope. It wasn't a peaceful or reassuring image. I didn't want to be on a tightrope in my life, where a slip either way could be disastrous. Another image I wasn't comfortable with was one in which I was in the center of a broad beam of some sort, and had pushed all the 'stuff' that might tip the beam, out toward the ends of the beam, away from me so that I could remain safely in the center and would not be affected much if it tipped a little either way. In this image I had effectively isolated myself from everything in an effort to stay "balanced". I could not accept either image as a way to live. It was one day while driving home from work that the image of a pendulum appeared to me. I was riding it through life, from one extreme to the other and experiencing everything in between, from pain to ecstacy, anguish to euphoria.I was unafraid to accept the bad, the difficult, the mundane, because I knew that there would also be good, joyful and exciting. Things would never stand still for me to say "O.K. Everthing is balanced now." Rather, things would always be in motion but no matter how far the pendulum might swing in one direction, something which I now recognize as a Universal Law would make it swing back , and in that motion was to be found The Balance. I was immediately relieved and have used this image to work through problems ever since that day. It helps to look back at what I've 'swung past' to put into persective what it is that I'm swinging through now. There was a mention of the pendulum in one of the journal entries that I read tonight, and I was reminded of that first-time image and the peace that it brought me. The other entry that made me smile was of Don Carlos, and his wonderfully simple but profound "formula" for life. His most important lesson for me was DONT TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY. It's an important lesson to remember and USE, especially when looking for that balance as I swing through life on my pendulum. I hope to learn to use this Blog in an effective way, and I would like to hear from other users of The Wheel. Comment from Valerie W at 12:01 on 04_26_05 I enjoy your writing and am determined to make the time to read these journal pages. Comment from Kathy Molloy at 12:54 on 03_26_05 Cynthia and Malcolm, This website and the daily journal have brought me to tears....of joy. It is so well-written, so heartfelt and easily understood. The design and graphics of the site are fabulous. It flows, it teaches, and it makes the wheel come to life. I congratulate you on your successful launch! There are a few typos here and there, which I am sure you caught. Other than that, I can't complain about a thing. I will be subscribing at some point during the month- I wouldn't miss this for the world. I will also send it on to others. I am travelling a lot in the next three weeks, so I may not be able to focus on all that, but I will try. Light and Love to you both and to all the other circle-keepers, Kathy Comment from General comments at 12:33 on 03_26_05 I'm not sure how I got on the list, but I'm really looking forward to this moon cycle!
